I went to see Gavin after finding him online to commission an engagement ring for my girlfriend. Gavin was really superb throughout the whole process. I felt Gavin was honest and informative, but never patronising, from my initial consultation to collecting the finished ring. His price was excellent for a bespokely crafted ring and there was no hassle at all as Gavin sourced the diamond for me. We are extremely happy with having my engagement ring made by Gavin Mack. We used family jewelery that had been passed down and wanted to use this to create something new and modern. I looked on Gavin's website and found a ring design in the shape of a flower that I thought was very pretty. Gavin knew that this design would best show off the stones we had. Receiving one free CAD design of how the ring may look, enabled us to visualise it better. We have found Gavin to be helpful, knowledgable and patient. We asked him lots of questions throughout the process and he replied straight away to my texts. We are thrilled to bits with the finished ring. It is so beautiful and sparkles in the light. I have been admiring it ever since receiving it. It is obvious that real craftsmanship has gone into the ring, both with the making of the ring and the setting of the stones. It is very high quality. I was referred to Gavin Mack Jewellery from a friend that had bought his wedding jewellery from him a few years earlier. I dealt with solely with Gavin via text and email only, and have never had a better experience in buying something. I compared the quality and size of the gems that Gavin sourced (a rare pair of matching Columbian Emeralds) and found his prices unbeatable. Having easy access to Hatton Garden jewellers I checked 5 other places and none of them offered as much stone for the price, anywhere near as helpful or genuine. I contacted Gavin after being recommended to me by my best friend and his fiancée, and I can't recommend him enough. Having visited three other Jewellers in the area, Gavin was easily the most professional out of the lot (Easily contactable, returned messages and didn't come across as trying to make a quick buck!).After a few weeks of Email exchanges, phone conversations and text messages, I found a design I liked and Gavin produced it. It was even more beautiful than what Id imagined and I cannot wait for her to see it. I will be recommending Gavin moving forward and I will most definitely be using him again myself!
All you ask is that a jeweller is passionate about creating something beautiful for you (And not just a salesman), communicates with you and ultimately produces what you've asked for and Gavin goes above and beyond to ticks all those boxes and more! Massive thank you Gavin!

Gavin was absolutely amazing. I truly can't thank him enough for putting up with such an awkward customer. From the initial consultation, through numerous discussions on design and me changing my mind on a regular basis, to him crafting and showing me the most beautiful ring I could imagine he went above and beyond. I feel very fortunate to have found Gavin. I was after a one off engagement ring and was searching the internet. I found three companies Gavin Mack being one of them. As the other two was over the internet things moved quickly and I felt that these companies had no interest in the finished article but just the inflated price they could charge for a one off. I then met face to face with Gavin in his work shop and within minutes I realised his interest was the final piece and not what was easy for him. You can see the love he has for his job and the passion he carries through the design process. Just by speaking with him you see he is a true craftsman with a fountain of knowledge in his trade. I first started this looking for an engagement ring and I ended up purchasing earrings and a pendant all matching the ring. I collected the items tonight and they are amazing. My girlfriend will defiantly be the envy of her friends when she has them all, over the coming weeks. I cannot speak highly enough of Gavin for the person he is or his craftsmanship. If like me, you are lucky enough to have found this website amongst the hundreds that are available then give him a call. Thank you Gavin for all your work and I promise you will hear from me again.

I would recommend Gavin to anyone looking for high quality, bespoke jewellery, and great prices. As well as the great quality and value he provides a personal service second to none.We chose Gavin to make our wedding rings, and he’s knowledge and advice was invaluable to help us create the design we both required. Both of the rings are just like the pictures we had in our heads when we first met Gavin. He was able to easily understand our requirements and designed the rings exactly as required.
We had them made months before, but after the wedding with the colder weather mine felt loose, Gavin altered this free of charge within a couple of days. Something that wouldn’t happen in a high street shop.
We will definitely use him again if we are looking for something special.
