Approached Gavin to make a ring for my wife after our 55th wedding anniversary. From day one he was extremely helpful and pleasant. Guided by him we came up with a design exactly as we wanted.The ring was delivered yesterday, great workmanship, a lovely piece and a sensible price.

I saw a lovely ring online that was a famous brand name and was only produced by the company in 1995. I have been trying to find one in my size but the only ones online were small and mainly in the USA, so I took a photo of the ring to Gavin, and he has made one for me that looks like the original one, and I am so thrilled with it. I also took a ring I have had for 40 years and he has re-modelled that to my taste so it shows the stones up much better than they were in the original ring. I am so pleased with the service and advice I was given and I now have 2 superb rings which I know are unique. I was recommended by a friend and now I have recommended Gavin to other friends and a relative, and I will certainly go back there in future for any jewellery I need making or altering.Date of Posting: 10 January 2022

I wanted to buy signet ring for my son's Christmas gift - but found it quite difficult to find what I was looking for in any of the High Street jewellers. Looking on line I found a number of jewellers in the Jewellery Quarter in Birmingham who could custom make a signet ring, which seemed like the ideal solution.
I read all the reviews and from those selected Gavin Mack. It turned out to be a great decision.
Gavin was not only very willing to listen to what I wanted but also to give me advice from his many years of experience. The resulting signet ring was perfect.
It was the present that took his breath away a little bit. No mean feat with an 18 year old boy!
I would definitely make Gavin my first stop next I'm looking to have any jewellery made.

After getting engaged in October both me and my fiancé found Gavin’s website and fell in love with his work, I knew straight away that this was the person I wanted making my engagement ring. From start to finish Gavin has worked so hard, listened to what I wanted, took his time finding just the right stone, worked with our budget in mind and crafted the most beautiful ring I have ever seen. Gavin stayed in contact throughout the whole process giving updates and listened to my poor description of what I wanted and brought them to life.
All the positive reviews don’t do him enough justice, he is an expert at what he does.
Gavin also worked with my partner in making me believe there was a small delay with the ring so I could be surprised Christmas morning. Best surprise ever.
We will definitely be back when it’s time for our wedding rings. 1000/10.

I am a total perfectionist with a very keen eye for detail and it's rare to be 100% happy with the outcome of a project. However, the transformation from a what was a scuffed sapphire set in an old fashion setting to what is now a stunning platinum sapphire and diamond halo set ring is just incredible! I did my research before committing to Gavin and I am glad I decided to go with him as all the positive reviews are well founded! Without a doubt, I would have no hesitation in recommending him! He was patient, he listened and the end result more than exceeded my expectations!

Just picked up 3 fabulous rings Gavin has made for me. A wedding ring that was too broad and I could no longer wear has been made into 2 rings that look perfect together. Gavin helped design a pair of earrings for me. This was a special 60th birthday gift including diamonds, emeralds, rubies and sapphires to represent sisters, so a very personal gift. I was unsure about mixing so many colours, but with Gavin’s expertise the result was stunning, yet restrained and elegant. The stones are of particularly excellent quality.
